Frequently Asked Questions
If you cannot find your answer here, reach us on the contact page. We continuously update this list.
How do I choose the right level?
If you are new to paper crafting or returning after a long break, start with Beginner Foundations. If you are comfortable with straight cuts and adhesive control, try Intermediate Technique Labs. Advanced is ideal once you regularly achieve even embossing and clean die cuts.
What materials do I need for my first week?
You will need a craft knife or trimmer, scoring tool, adhesive, a ruler, cardstock (80–110 lb), and a cutting mat. Optional tools include a heat tool and a die cutter for technique labs.
Do courses include downloadable resources?
Yes. Each course includes printable checklists, measurement charts, and troubleshooting guides. Files are updated when lessons improve.
How long do I retain access?
Course access is granted for at least 12 months from purchase. We occasionally extend access when content receives major updates.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes. If you complete the first 20% of a course and find it does not match the description, contact support within 14 days for assistance. We will review your case fairly.
Can I get a certificate?
You can request a completion certificate showing the course title, hours, and assessed skills. Certificates are not academic credentials.
Is Boldhub CardLab accessible?
We support keyboard navigation, high-contrast text, and captioned videos. If you need adjustments, email us; we respond within two business days.
Do you offer team or classroom licenses?
Yes. We provide multi-seat licenses for studios and classrooms. Contact us for group pricing and onboarding materials.
Why “CardLab” in the name?
We document techniques like experiments—define the goal, control variables, observe results, and iterate. It keeps creativity grounded in reliable steps.
